The whole show from Sept 1st 1990. This is the video that the audience could see on the big screens either side of the stage.

Otherwise knows as ‘The Wild Party’ this was the tour finale, Erasure at the peak of their popularity in front of 60,000 people at the Milton Keynes Bowl in England. and still is Erasure’s biggest ever gig in the UK.

The show was broadcast live on BBC Radio 1, which is where the audio for this video comes from.
Support acts for the show were Electribe 101, Adamski and Was Not Was, culminating with this amazing performance by Erasure at 9pm.

Oh by the way, the first minute or so is the Radio 1 introduction, and is audio only. The video starts when the band come on stage. Enjoy!

  4. Like many was there at MK aged 18. Was a huge erasure fan at the time but i guess in the next few years I changed a lot and left them behind. Cant believe this was 27 years ago. Such a great time.

  5. Was there with me best mate, absolutely incredible day.
    Adamski was insane.
I'D LOVE HIS SET FROM THAT DAY, AS HIS MIX OF NRG WAS INCREDIBLE.
Electribe 101 songs all sounded the same.

  6. Geeze, this takes me back a few years! I had the privilege of being there to see this concert, I was only 16-years-old and boy did it open my mind to another way of living life! I absolutely love Andy Bell and Vince Clarke is just a f-ing godlike genius on the synthesiser!!!

The Innocents was my favourite album, but I love the track Witch in a ditch and also Reunion on the Wonderland album. But, to be honest I don't think I didn't like any of their tunes until after the wild album, kinda lost there way a bit after that…..

I was at the Erasure Wild concert, September 1 at the Milton Keynes Bowl UK, I'm sure Was Not Was played as 1 of support acts and it's doing my head in as I can't remember for sure! Does anyone else know if they did?

  7. Greatest group ever to emerge from earth thus far ~ Vince Clark was a mastermind that was in a brand new league of his own, and then add Andy Bell to the mix and you had Erasure. easily the best music ever produced !
