This is the 12″ Dance Mix of ‘West End Girls’ by Pet Shop Boys. The track was produced by Stephen Hague and remixed by the Boys themselves (along with Frank Roszak). This was the first ever 12″ record I bought and this particular mix has always been my favourite version of West End Girls. I played it to death in 1985 and it still gets to me now, nearly 25 years later. Pure class.

  1. Sometimes you're better off dead
There's a gun in your hand it's pointing at your head
You think you're mad too unstable
Kicking in chairs and knocking down tables
In a restaurant in a West end town
Call the police there's a mad man around
    Running down underground
To a dive bar in a West end town…
